Dr Benjamin Tawiah is a Senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Visiting Postdoc Scholar and Research Associate at the School of Fashion and Textiles (SFT), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he obtained his PhD degree in 2019. He also worked as a postdoctoral Fellow and as a research associate at the City University of Hong Kong. He is ranked among the Top 2% Scientists (single-year) by Elsevier and Stanford University. He has published more than 90 papers in high-impact journals, authored more than 15 book chapters, and edited four (4) books. His research interests focus on sustainable fire-retardant polymer composites and fibres, advanced electrochemical energy storage systems, and sustainable transitions in the textile and garment industry.
