Fashion and Textiles Review (FTR) is an open-access peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute of Textiles and Fashion Professionals, Ghana (ITFP-GH), committed to publishing scholarly research works in fashion and textiles. The publications include research articles, reviews, short communication, and commentary. It encourages contributions from various fields, fostering innovation and new perspectives in the fashion and textiles sector.

Fashion and Textiles Review is a scholarly journal dedicated to exploring and disseminating research in the fashion and textiles industry. It serves as a comprehensive platform for academics, researchers, and industry professionals to share their findings and insights on various topics, including design, technology, sustainability, and cultural studies related to fashion and textiles.

Fashion and Textiles Review has a highly efficient editorial team that ensures that publication times are shorter as papers are published shortly after a rigorous peer review process.

The Editorial team is committed to ensuring the content of works published is ethically sound and does not breach any publishing ethics. Papers must be prepared using and journal's paper template and submitted for processing through the online submission system. Due to this arrangement, a paper that does not meet the initial standard and format is not accepted for onward processing and publication. 

Fashion and Textiles Review (FTR) opens access for academic work, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and to use them for any other lawful purpose. All the articles published in this journal are free to access immediately from the date of publication. We do not charge any fees for any reader to download articles for their own scholarly use.

Fashion and Textiles Review refers authors to full details about the journal in the About the Journal section. Authors should also use the journal template to prepare and submit their manuscripts.

All articles published by the Fashion and Textiles Review (FTR) are fully Open Access (OA). As an open access journal without any subscription charges, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies payable by the authors, funder or authors institutional. This makes the published works easily and permanently accessible to all.
